Best locking on a folder.....

The button lock will hold up to all cutting tasks. I have crushed the plunger on an auto before. And that was after years of dumb use. Keep in mind that they are hollow to allow for the spring pushing it up. If enough pressure is put on it the cylinder will collapse and the blade will close.

The TR3 is an awesome knife though and it should serve you well
