Hey guys, I got my 0801 back from a very talented knife customizer yesterday, and I'm posting pictures of the results. I don't think he's on blade forums, so I won't name him here. If you want to get in touch with him, send me a pm :).

That looks very unique. I loke the stonewashed blade and clip. How did he achieve the green look on the scales?

An any chance of a picture of the whole knife with the blade opened?
 
Nice! I've seen all the blues, I've been waiting to see a nuked green or gold :D

I like it. It's so pretty stock that I wouldn't have thought it would be a good choice for the nuked look, but it seems I was wrong.
 
That is one sweet 0801! Wow, its a stunner. I need me to pick up a 0801 soon
 
very nice looking knife. The 801 is so plain on its own, the anodizing really kicks it up a notch:-)
 
OK now why is that not how it comes from the factory????? come on Kershaw make this happen and offer it in various colors so everyone can enjoy :D
 
Glad that you like it:) For me that is not my cup of tea. I think of all the time I spend removing every scratch from a blade not adding them!

I like the plain stock look of the 801 to me it seems almost classic. But after looking at some of the customs I must say I'm almost tempted to do something with mine.
 
Best looking ZT 0801 is coming in a few months with M390 steel & CF inserts to boot. "Introducing" the ZT 0801CF:

That looks sweet, i am also curious how that color was achieved. I just did a heat anodize to my 0801 and im really happy with it. Looks like this is goin to be a knife people will be having fun with. A blank canvas of sorts.
 
That's a good looking 801. I think I'm alone but I think the 801 is butt ugly, but that one looks very nice.
