Best looking 0801 you will see!

Thanks for the compliments guys! For those of you that are wondering, he anodized it green, stonewashed it, anodized it green again, stonewashed it, then anodized it bronze. It's a finish you gotta see up close to really appreciate! Iceman, I saw your 0801 on instagram. It's nice with the blue lows and silver highs, but I personally like mine more because it's so different from other ones out there. I personally hate the black hardware and pocketclip, and even just polishing them up makes the knife 5 times nicer!
 
I think I'm alone on this, but I don't like the "nuked" look. I like clean looks, like ICEMAN's 0801.

I don't like the black hardware on a otherwise completely silver knife though. It feels like they just found parts from another knife and reused them on the 0801.

You aren't alone on that I'm sure bro. I love the aged look that makes a knife look less flashy, but more stylish. As for the black hardware, it looks out of place and cheapens the way the knife looks. Like an afterthought on an otherwise great knife.

While the nuked versions are not really my cup of tea, I do commend you on picking a great knife to do it on! There are some aspects I do like though. Congrats on those 801's fella's!

From the first second I saw the 801CF I KNEW I had to have it so I am on the list at the place I got my 0600 LE from so I think I have an excellent chance of getting one, maybe two! I have really come to like the 801!!:thumbup::)
 
I wouldn't say butt-ugly, but it looks rather uninspired. I realize that it's a Todd Rexford design based on his Singularity model, and although many are fanatical about his work, the lines of the knife just don't do anything for me. I'm also of the same opinion when it comes to the Epicenter and Injection, guess I'm just not a Rexford-design type of guy.
 
It looks good, but I think I'd prefer something a little different.
I want a Blue/Purple with silver/polished grooves, polished hardware, blue ti standoffs, a stonewash like on the Spyderco Techno, and a nice stonewashed ti pocket clip.
And of course a beautiful polished edge just to top it off.
I just got my 0801 today and already want this done.
 
I like it the way it is as well Mossy, so I'm not sure what I want to do lol.

Pool Hustler. I love the way those two look. They're beautifully colored and still have that gorgeous clean look.
 
It's a nice looking knife stock, but prefer the steampunk look, and any scratches won't need to be nice out anymore lol. Blue is nice, but the color changes from the oils in your hands, unlike green. I thought about getting another 0801 and doing a clean ano blue on it, but I am kinda done with kai for awhile and on to spyderco :)
 
I think it is very unique, but I would never consider doing the same to mine.I do like how xICEMANx did his 0801 which is an upgrade over the stock two tone.I prefer a plane Jane over all the make up.To each their own......
 
I really like some of these, but I do have to admit that this is one knife that I think is plenty pretty enough stock:

I like them all. Its really awesome that you can take a great knife like the 0801 and go in so many different directions with it.
