Best looking folders (opinions)

And this thread has been won by Mr Paranee.

In my book anyway. Still the best looking folder I've ever seen. Just goes to show that no fancy materials are needed as long as the lines of the knife are well done.

I'm also diggin' the grips on the Scandium Smith.

It's been touted to death nearly, but my CRK 21's clean, and almost sterile appearance appeals to me a great deal, it's just made to use, and in that is a thing of attraction.
On the flip side, when it comes to a more traditional approach, I like jackknives, and their selection of blades, they have the appearance of a folder that can do a wide array of task, maybe not being perfect at any one of them, this "Ivory Bone" Handle GEC put out in #56 Dogleg Jack is very pleasing to my eye, as well as the patina the blades sport.

I am very partial to Strider PT design. IMO it's the best looking small hard-use knife. I have two :)

And on bigger scale I love custom ground XM slicer the best

Rolling with Spyderco Caly 3...

...curves that appeal to the eyes and a pleasure to use in hand;
an exquisite example in the exercise of form follows function.

Nice pics... But lol, my inner middleschooler lold at the first sentance :)

That's funny, I just realized that perspective with that particular
statement taken out of context; guess being a knife nut can at
times cause one to have myopic vision- lol. It's my inner Freud.
Now I'm really glad that I posted the picture to tie it all together.

Here's the Zulu I got last week. I'm enjoying this knife a lot and think it's great looking.

I'm no collector, so I'm not going to limit this to knives I own. (None of these pictures are mine)

ZT Makes the most beautiful full-production knives in my opinion.

ZT0561 - My Personal Favorite, much better looking and more functional design that an actual XM.

I think the Tilt has the most beautiful clip, even though I hate the knife design.

I love the Southard from Spyderco, and Brad's customs are even nicer, tough the Spydie would be more than good enough for me.

There are plenty of others and customs are an entirely different matter. I honestly think there are too many beautiful pieces to call a winner, but my personal grail is a small Jasmine Flipper from Ray Laconico, made up with bolsters and s90v, sort of like this one.

More to come as time allows!

There are certain characteristics that appeal to me functionally and aesthetically so I look for knives with both. I can also appreciate knives that maximize functionality such as the Spyderco Para2 because "beauty is as beauty does". Otherwise life is too short to carry an ugly knife.

These are some in my EDC rotation that I like:

Love every one of those!
