  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Best Machete?

Condor Discord machete. I have some Cold Steel, but the Discord is the best. Look how it chopped through some thick dry and super hard Accacia tree. Chops like my Gransförs bruk American felling axe!
I'm not saying this to be rude, but if that's true then there's something really wrong with your axe.

Or my poor technique!😅😅😅😅 No worries, you probably have much more experience than me using an axe! But that “machete” (big chopper) chops hard wood really well! Try it one day!

As some one that has used a machete as a everyday tool on active tree farm, I always buy 3 or 4 of the model I like. Sharpen them up then toss them back in the truck as they each gets dull from use. Usually that will get you through a work day with out having to worry about resharpening. When it comes time, I use a belt sander with a 220 grit belt. Way easier than searching for a machete with a magic holds its edge for ever steel blade.
