The paint isn't even fancy.
This is for the chic "I've got too much money and want to make visitors to my Manhattan condo think I'm an outdoor adventurer" crowd.
They have a contact form. Maybe I should e-mail them asking what makes their axe any better than my $30 True Temper axe from Lowes. What do you think?
Hi!
I browsed your axe catalog and I have some questions I'd like to ask if that's allright with you?
1. Certainly for the price you want from your axes you also have guarantee? How long is it or lifetime? What does the guarantee cover?
2. What wood do you use in your shafts?
3. What steel do you use in your axeheads, what is the grind and what about hardening?
4. Is there any video demostrations of your axes? I would like to see how well they perform in the field.
5. What makes your axes better than standard ones if we count out the handmade factor?
Thank you. Waiting eagerly for your answer.
Regards,

I grabbed about 5 axes this summer for a total of 25 bucks, most are as good or better than these $500.00 things, Hey, I'm rich ;-))

paint the handles in some frou-frou color and put some touchy slogan on it.......bam, you will be rich.
What is even better, and had me laughing...................................you can buy an artsy photo of on of their axes for $300, and then hang it up over your lavender and purple ax that cost you $500.
