best modern folder aroune 150?

Looking for a 3-3.75 inch folder for about 150, ane i have had just about everything, but am rebuilding the collection.

I like my Benchmade Torrent and Kulgera. They're both around that price range. Even though I use my Griptillian the most.

What type of use? Blade shape preference? Handle preference?
My favorite folder in that price range is the emerson 7, but the benchmade 300 is nice as well as the sage lockback from spyderco

The ZT 0801 can be had for around $150 in some cases. I think it's a great value, even at its regular price of $200. 3.5" blade length, right in the sweet spot of your length range. Elmax steel has been good to me, both in edge retention and sharpenability (even though I'm junk at sharpening). Nicely sculpted full titanium handles, deep carry clip, and KVT bearings for super smooth opening. Very handsome folder, it gets my vote.

Wow, I'm surprised nobody has mentioned it yet, but the spyderco Gayle Bradley is about the best quality that $150 can buy.

Realistically, you need to narrow down your criteria. You will have everyone saying just about every folder in the market before long. You already said you were bad at making decisions, so narrow it down a little so there are not as many choices. Right now, simply go on any major knife selling site and they will offer at least 100 knives that meet your criteria.

I think i'm going with the translucent blue manix2 and putting the rest in my large starbenza fund. Anybody use the xl manix? How does it compare?
