Hi everyone,
Been looking around the net for a good book that covers modern ways and machines like the 2 by 72" belt grinder, for knifemaking.
Most of the books are out dated with materials I am not even familiar with, so I won't know if it is still being used or not.
Not interested in making a knife with a hack saw and file, i have machines to do that.
I am looking for a book to tell me each important step.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Jon

Best one I have ever read was Bob Engnath's catalog from Blades 'n Stuff. It is online here: http://www.engnath.com/

If you want super machine-intensive coverage you are probably wanting something else, but I would recommend Bob's catalog as a jumping off point. Sadly he is no longer around to personally help you out (which he was always ready to do) or provide what is in his catalog but it remains as a fantastic resource for the beginning maker.
