I can't say I disagree. Their corn cob jigging is always on point. Now their knife quality. Meh

You said it all. Perhaps a small dip in their QA process, but the jigging is a strong point for case. Nothing even close (for the price). Case does bone the best affordably IMO.

I'm with you, Steve. The early American knife companies had the best jigging, I seldom see a modern knife, production or custom that can compete.

I am with Steve and Rob, the earlier jigging was better than most current stuff. The Case jigging in the Tested and XX eras was superior to the current Case jigging. I think that GEC did a great job on the bone Waynorth lamb foot.

For custom level jigging, Ploppert in post #6 did a nice job on that "thready" jig!!
Older Schrade jigging is hard to beat IMO!!!

I think Case’s jigging is the best in modern production. It’s consistent across their product line, and consistently good. GEC can do great jigging and I have seen some really interesting examples, but they do a lot of different types, and while some are great, some are a little lackluster. Vintage jigging can be breathtaking but it’s hard to find nice examples.
