Best of Noss? Noss Says "awesome" on Bussie... What else should I watch?

I believe the Cold Steel GI tanto has had the best price/strength ratio of all knives tested.

And for that reason I bought one. I work in a highrise building and I put the knife in my office in case I have to cut my way out some day.

IIRC the Cold Steel Bushman did pretty well and also a Cheaper-Than-Dirt knife did well, both pretty inexpensive.

Noss' test of the Fallkniven with the laminated blade was super cool as it showed how one part of the blade may break while the remaining laminated part may hold the entire thing together.

So neat!

I was just curious about something. What kind of work do you do, that you can afford to buy these knives that you end up breaking:confused:. I know some are donated, but you buy the rest.

I'm not rich or anything. I just retired from my job. I did my 20 years and I'm done. Now I just have fun doing what I want to do.

I hope that you find time in your retirement to do more videos, I found them to be quite interesting.

I have always enjoyed and appreciated your vids, Noss. Hope to see more in the future with some folder locking mech torture tests!

Noss, I think your videos are excellent. Whats valuable for me is how your tests start with each knife, slow and progressively get more severe.
for example On the sledge pounding you don't just start in with heavy blows, it appears you start with light blows and continue to ramp it up to a severe beating. this allows for each knife to have a fair chance to get to the next level, or to fail early. Most importantly this allows for comparison between knives you have tested.

How on earth some don't see the value in your destruction tests is beyond me. I guess maybe its that you from time to time disprove some myths.

At least re-post your old videos, that would be great.
