Best Of The Big Blade Folders Thats Not Custom?

I've carried a Cuda Maxx for many years.
Haven't found anything easier to carry that size and weight.
Nice and flat doesn't print in your pocket.
Fits well in your pocket, clip is very high so it conceals well and as fast or faster to open than anything.
D2 steel has held up fine.

some big ones

I'll go with tth Cold Steel line of folders, especially the Gunsite. Just got through cutting up some carpet and it did a much better job than I thought.

The Voyagers are great knives, too. The 6-inchers are especially intimidating.

CS Lg. Espada. I have owned many of the high end commercially made folders over the years and none imho were any better made than this Espada. The thing is a tank and is extremely well made. A one piece milled interframe with integral bolsters. Just rock solid. keepem sharp

Big (-ish) on a budget:

Kershaw Northside Hunter
Kershaw Junk Yard Dog II (Composite blade 13C26/CPM-D2)

The Benchmade Rukus is one I could recommend, but I'd love to see larger folding knives from the top manufacturers. Large folders might be politically incorrect in some cities, but they have a wide variety of uses to the outdoorsmen, especially with some of the advances in strong lock technology. When folders top out at 4 inches, it's really too bad. Certainly lame designs like liner locks can't be used in larger knives, but lockbacks and other, stronger, more secure locks have made such knives eminently practical.

BM Rukus is a ridiculous knife. It locks like it's fixed, the action is amazing, and it fits in the hand perfectly. It's a bit pricey, but not compared to a full size Sebbie...!
