I've bought from a few online sellers of knives, but was curious as to other's opinions of really dependable suppliers.

Welcome to Blade Forums Karis. I hope you end up enjoying this place at least as much as I do.

We have a large amount of information around here with a Good, Bad and Ugly forum in the exchange area.

I am kind of partial to the dealers, knifemakers and members that support this place as well as the knife community as a whole. There are many who contribute to the community with their advice to and support of other members as well.

i honestly, haven't bought a knife from an online dealer...

every knife i own has been purchased either thru this website or the Candle Power Forums...

i'd reccomend keeping an eye on the sales forums here... some amazing deals... or @ the very least, an on par deal with a gentleman or gentlewoman who pay to support this website...

I've typically found the lowest price as well as good service through the e-bay stores flamesnknives (in Cali somewhere) and razorsharpknife (in Mass.). Their prices are typically at least $10 dollars less than any of the other online dealers. I've also been in on some truly good deals by signing up to recieve e-mail "private sales" from the online retailers.

He's not the biggest - basically he only stocks Benchmades and Surefires - but Joe at American Sports has given me service well above and beyond what I had any right to expect. He understands that customer service and the personal touch is what creates loyalty and brings people back.

This is not a knock of any kind on any other dealers here.

I agree. The folks at New Graham are nice, and they offer a good selection at a good price. At Knifeworks.com, the prices are often a little cheaper for the same knives. On Ebay, Razorsharpknife has the best selection for the best prices. Unlike many people selling knives on Ebay, he's very nice and very professional and you can buy from him with confidence.

For anyone who has to get their knives by international shipping, I'm another fan of New Graham Knives. Quick, easy and friendly and the prices are good.
What more could you want?

Support the knife dealers who help keep this place open and running.

You can find them in the Exchange forums, under the 'Dealer' headings.

I think they've only been in the on-line scene for a limited time, but Grand Prairie Kniveshttp://www.gpknives.com provides great customer service in person, and they carry an incredible selection of knives. Mike Payton, the proprietor, is very knowledgeable, and his prices are tough to beat.

Unfortunately for my pocketbook, his physical shop is within a 30 minute drive from my workplace, so, no matter how good the prices may be, the "quick fix" may lead to my undoing! ;)
