Hi! I've been a long time creeper around the forum and finally got around to make an account.
I've been buying through a website and a few individual sellers of blades for a while now. A Philippine based site called tacticalasia.com and a few sellers on Facebook. The thing is, there's no consistency with the prices and my choices are fairly limited. There's always almost $20 differences between their prices and most of the time the best price you can get is around $15-$20 more of the MSRP of the manufacturer. So I never really get anything at a "street price" around here. I'm actually afraid of purchasing online since I actually save up for every purchase since I'm in college and this is just actually a hobby. So I don't know which sites or dealers will actually be reliable for shipping to the Philippines. Another thing I'm worried about is what if it is just dropped off at the postal office which is a big no no here. I love my country but most people who work there are some sour motherf*&%$*. SO in short, I don't want to end up paying around $20-$30 for "taxes" which is around 100-200% of the actual fee for something I just saved weeks for. Plus it's a knife so they would definitely use that to their advantage. I've already experienced this with shoes I bought from footlocker.
So here are my questions...(Directed to anyone based in the Philippines especially my "kababayans")
1. Is there a dealer or seller here in BF based in the Philippines that sells production blades?
2. What online blade store would offer the best prices and at the same time guarantee my package will be on my doorstep with no complications?
3. Are there other dealers in the Philippines that I don't know of? (I know Tactical Asia, Outfitter, Light Cut Fix Store, and MDK).
Thanks!
Clark
