Best pins for a folding knife

Hi I'm new to knife making and this forum but i an very interested. i have made a few full tang knifes but i am thinking about making a slipjoint folder, i am not sure about what type of pin/rivet to use for the hinge or the handle i looked on jantz and i'm still not sure i would appreciate some insite on the best ones to use.

Look up Chris Crawford and go to his site and check out his tutorial on making slipjoints it will get to going.

Foar an average size fodler use 3/32" annealed SS pins availabale from Midwest Knifemakers Supply. For the scale pins only if making a slipjoint use either 1/16" SS annealed or nickel silver pins.
 
Carbon steel, stainless steel, brass and nickel silver all work well. It depends on the application.
