Best place to buy buck 110? Amazon vs Buck

It's like the custom " french green buck 110"only available in Canada and serial numbered..It was $250 ,a house of knives exclusive.I bought one.few years later I see this exact knife in french green all over the place for sale, for next to nothing.I gave mine to a fellow member here as a gift and never bought another serialized exclusive again.

Tell me how a original Buck knife value can be affected by a legitimate build out knife. An original will always have more value than a build out. NO QUESTION. What is all of this negativity all about lately? We all have knives we love.

Jeff Hubbard has been awesome. It's one of our connections with the factory. His word should be respected.

Ask Craig who profited from the knives you purchased. If they came with a COA that could only say it is a buck made knife. If those knives were never made you could not have a choice unless the titanium was an original and then custom made knife. He is IMO flooding the market with these knives. What did you buy not the take apart original that he has in his store you bought a mismatched knife, with a 110 blade. Jeff Hubbard is another story I respected until I found a knife that is current with the same things that he told me that made my knife unsafe and that Buck would not send out a knife in that condition. I sent pictures of "The Federal" that is right from the Buck Factory and current that is built the same way that the knife that he told me was "unsafe". For what it's worth. Respect has to be earned. I do this thing I call ,thinking for myself and taking care of my family. I don't follow the leader or stroke somebody because of a knife. I refused to believe the knife was compromised and somebody helped me prove what I thought against everyone like Jeff Hubbard. He has a job to bring out things that he sees as different and explained until I believed him. I sat down and thought and stood up to his beliefs. Left it at that not knowing if he was right or wrong and Today I found the exact thing on "the Federal" and wrote with pics.

I shop on Amazon a lot, but for commodity items. If it's something I'm an enthusiast about, such as knives, I'll buy from one of the many knife vendors online instead of Amazon, just to support the knife sellers. There are limits, of course, I won't pay twice as much at the knife vendor as Amazon; but I will pay more.

What is wrong MK_Pokt, I was asked a question. Anything wrong with that?

I see that you may understand where I am coming from. It's like a battle with these people that don't understand.
Thanks, RAZORBLADES

Sorry guys but this is Bullshit. I think action should be taken towards Michael5135. If your only reason for being on here is to be a troll....... sorry there are knives out there you don't approve of. That literally is none of your concern. Don't buy one if you don't want one. Don't tell people where they should buy knives and where they shouldn't.

Nobody is taking apart any knives, where do you come up with this crap. And why do you care anyway. They are built by Buck period. By the same people that built the knives you own. Why are you even questioning that. Craig isn't selling knives he put together. They come that way with COA from Buck. Quit being so dense on a subject you know nothing about.

Your constant bellowing is irritating and disruptive.

Craig has been more than fair with every transaction. His ratings speak for themselves.

Curious,,, you were a police officer but gun card taken away?

Any response I tried to put together has turned into an attack, so I've decided to only offer this:

Make sure you know exactly what you're talking about before you post. Putting inaccurate information out here will ruin your credibility. There are many knowledgeable people here who see right through you, but those folks might not want to rock the boat by calling you out.

Just because you don't like what someone says, does not mean they're wrong.

Lastly; editing or deleting your prior posts is cowardly.

Walmart often carries them as a loss leader, at least in the US... Canada prices are higher, around $65 last time I looked.

maybe true on walmart i would assume, but then again maybe due to just such large volume and buying power.

due to canadas weaker dollar everything costs more in canada. last winter when i was in montreal my american dollar bought a lot more than it did stateside. on all products in general. likewise when im in england my dollar buys a whole lot less than here.

Thank you Desoto for the nudge and correction on Deal Spotting. I'm new here and learning the rules. I find the experienced people and information in this forum valuable, and I definitely want to use it appropriately. I saw this thread with prices and jumped on the bandwagon without thinking. Not an excuse.

For future reference is it Ok to mention retail stores without naming prices or price ranges, or is it best practice not to mention store names at all - other than Dealer/Members? I looked at the FAQ, and it isn't quite clear to me.

From the FAQ: [No deal spotting
Yes, we know you found a great price on the Ninja Disembowel 4000 at SuperPriceMART. We don't care. We'd prefer you support the dealers who support BladeForums.com. As such, we don't allow deal spotting because otherwise the forums would be a quagmire of "deals" (real or imagined) posted everywhere, or unscrupulous people posting "deals" for non paying dealers. So don't do it. ]

Thanks.
The Bladeforums Exchange Rules:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/announcement.php?f=746&a=98

That should be clearer than the FAQ. If the store is not a paid supporting member, they do NOT get free advertising. If a specific questions regarding a store, service, or price is asked it should be done in the Feedback GBU section of the Exchange.

Yes that is right my firearms card and my 2nd ammendment rights were revoked. That was a long time ago and then I went to trade school and became a tool and die maker. Happy Now!!
