Hello BF,

I'm in the market to purchase a Shirogorov Neon Zero, and I was wondering if you'd be so kind as to recommend some good retailers?

Thanks!
Jay

There is only two in US . I dont think they are sponsors on BF so cant mention. A quick google search should yield the results you are looking for. Waiting for one on the exchange might be an option. I had one and sold it here a while back. It was a little too small for my liking. Good luck to you tho.

Thanks for the reply. I'm happy to hear the knife was too small for you. I actually prefer small knives. I recently acquired a small sebenza and think its a lovely size.

^^^^If you like the small Sibenza this should be a perfect fit. Its compact but a large blade size in proportion to handle size. I love Shiros but opted for a Spyderco Para 3 LW for summer carry. I was afraid of losing a $700 knife and constantly checking my pocket when carrying.

Knifecenter has a few shirogorov’s
Their pricing sucks. I’d look elsewhere.

To expand on our friend Ajack's post, not only does Knifecenter have a few Shiros, but they became an authorized dealer last year and have a pretty fair selection available. They are one of only two such worldwide, both in the US, save for one in Russia and of course the Shirogorov Brothers Workshop, neither of whom will sell to North America. Knifecenter's Shiro prices are identical to the other US dealer's. Whether those prices suck or not is a matter of opinion--they're simply US retail. Knifecenter is a BF supporting dealer while the other is not.

There is a well-known Russian dealership that advertises who is not authorized by SBW nor BF supporting selling Shiros, but their prices are very high.

For a better price, your best bet is indeed the Exchange. There are a couple individual Russian re-sellers who sold new and used knives there, one of whom used to be an BF supporting dealer, though they have not been active here for a while. I bought brand new knives from them at well below US dealer prices. The rest of my Shiros came second-hand from the Exchange and, save for one that was BNIB, paid between 50 and 75% of new retail for all. If you're looking for price, that's the way to go.

KnifeCenter may use the suggested pricing on Shiro’s but they add 15-20% markup on Pena Customs and Pena X-Series when compared to other dealers. However, they do price match if you can find the identical product in stock at another dealer.

@Vladimir_K can help you out. There is a vouch thread here for him somewhere too. Takes about 2 weeks for shipping but I’ve gotten several from him.
