I know there are already several complaints about BHQ here, but I don't think this one has been mentioned.
I wanted to check out the price of a Benchmade knife I was interested in. Google it and BHQ is near the top of the results. I go to their website and it says that I need to call them for the price. Really??? I'm thinking, "OK, they must have some kind of reduced price. Otherwise, they would have just posted it." So, letting curiosity get the better of me, I do call. And wait. And wait some more. Twenty minutes later, still on hold, I hung up out of frustration waiting for someone to answer a question that should have been on the damn site. Screw that. I'll buy elsewhere. I might have understood if they had a lot of folks answering their phones so customers did not have to wait inordinate amounts of time, but clearly they are more interested in inconveniencing prospective customers. Great business model, BHQ.
