Best readily available knife in the $100 range?

Looking for a folding knife

Maker doesn't matter.
Materials used aren't a real big concern either.
Just needs to be really solid.

I will go with the American Lawman as well, but also throw in the Spyderco Sage 1. Its an awesome EDC blade, light, FFG, S30V steel, and pretty nifty Carbon Fiber handles as well. Absolutely love mine.

You could get two Buck Vantage Pro's small 2 5/8'', large 3 1/4" also s30v with g10.

The blade should have been full length; current design provides a means for you to choke-up; like a hunting knife. Or maybe the handle is to short.

Clearly the Craftsmanship is superb.

I was actually looking at buying an AL or a Recon 1. I know the Recon is kinda big. Does anyone EDC this thing?

yeah i edc the tanto all the time i love it i dont notice the weight kinda a pain to close but not bad at all the thing is a damn chainsaw and to break it you need a sledge its a beast and that tri ad lock automatically adjusts its self as it wears so their is virtually no play in the blade for the price on knifecenter there is no way you can possibly go wrong with this knife honestly i would not get serrations again but apart from that its amazing

Kershaw RAM 35-50 for the blems. Para2 is under 100 from quite a few places. Benchmade Griptillians.
