Best Sanding Belt Cost Website??

Its a tossup between those two. Tru grit has great prices and an unbeatable selection, pops has a much smaller selection, but slightly better prices on some of the things they do have.
Generally when I'm not buying from within Canada, I go with tru grit as I can get everything at one place

"Best cost" is relative to how good a job the belts do and how nice you want your knife to be.
I have NEVER!! found "economy" belts to be highly productive or any real savings. There are inexpensive belts to be had that will do quick jobs and then you toss them. That's pretty much all they're good for.
Grinding belts is a huge arena and you need to put your time in and spend shit loads of money to find out what works best for you.

especially abrasives(https://especiallyabrasives.com/) has good prices, so does tru-grit. shop eBay for bargins. I have found belts in odd ball sizes that work on my belt sander, like 1 3/4"x69" or 2 1/4 x 73. got some 3M 707E fine finishing belts that tru-grit sells for $6 for less than $2.

Check out Combat Abrasives, I ran into them on Instagram and have bought many belts from them and they make good stuff, even accessories like cleaning sticks and belt grease-extends belt life and reduces heat...check them out with a Google

I use supergrit.com They may not be better than trugrit and pops but I believe they are. They are local for me.

I wish you had told me that when I was starting out. I tried various cheaper belts, and wasted more time and money with them than I care to think about.
At least for me a $10 belt will do 4-5x the work of a $5 belt

Pop’s for most of the belts, supergrit for Rhynowet Redline sheets, and possibly tru-grit now if I stick with the norax belts.
I think I’m finally numb to the shipping and handling I spend.:(

I am piggy backing on this thread a bit but what are better, norton blaze or 3m 984f cubitron II? because on pops the 3m's are double the norton.

I would try them both if I were you and see which ones perform better and last longer for you.
People have different grinding styles so you’re liable to get 20 different answers.

Some people like blaze, a lot more people seem to like cubitrons. Norton's newer ceramics (r999b and redheat) are MUCH better than blaze in my experience, but I haven't seen anywhere outside of one place in Canada selling them.
Buy a few of each and see what you like

I would say Pop's if you are looking for the premium stuff at a very fair price.

One of the best things about Tru Grit is they actually are an industrial supplier for abrasives.

They have the entire spectrum from the least expensive to the most expensive and everything in between.

Lucky me gets to walk in there and cherry pick what to try

Have you tried the VSM belts from Pops? The 50 grits are terrible but for me the 36 grit and 120 grit belts are indistinguishable from Cubitrons. However all other economy belts I've tried are crap. The AO economy belts from Pops that are like 1.50 a belt are good for marrying scales to tangs.

I used vsm for ages, I find the Norton's I've been using massively better. The vsm are by no means bad, but I found myself tossing them after 1-2 knives for the most part.
I liked the 120s, but found the others lacking

Combat Abbrassives all day. I have a hard time seeing how any belt could be better for the cost I'm paying. 60 grit it 5 or 6 bucks a belt 220 is 2 bucks and they do sales all the time. And they're American made. If that matters to you
