Best Sanding Belt Cost Website??

I really like the VSM60 grit. Different strokes. I’m wondering if Norton changed their 120grit, as I found them pretty crappy before, but I ground fully hardened z-wear with no problems last night. It went so well I tested the blade to make sure I wasn’t grinding a pre hardened blank. Nope, it was Rc63.

I have tried- Phoenix, Trugrit, Pops, ASA, USA knifemaker, and most recently, Combat. Combat just ran a black friday sale with 20% off and 6 free AO belts. I have only used the AO belts so far, but they track smooth and do what an AO belt is supposed to do.

Pop’s for most of the belts, supergrit for Rhynowet Redline sheets, and possibly tru-grit now if I stick with the norax belts.
I think I’m finally numb to the shipping and handling I spend.:(

Uggh tell me about it . Try shipping to alaska:thumbsdown::mad::poop:

Pops.

VSM and Hermes have some OK ceramic belts for the money.

3M is the best not considering price IMO.

When people mention "VSM" which one are you referring to?

The new 885 have been working great for me, much better then the original 760.

885 "The new Ceramic PLUS grain is manufactured in a new way that results in a much finer crystalline structure. This unique mineral fracture provides the abrasive product with a longer life, and more aggressive grains with an improved self-sharpening..."

I just started using the 885 60 grit from Blade show last year. 5 knives on it so far and still going strong. That's pretty good for me before that it was 1 or 2 knives per belt. I still struggle some with grinding.

The last time I bought vsm belts all they made were the xk760, still have half a dozen or so of each grit kicking around

Pop's unless I need something he doesn't carry, then trugrit. I like to support independents whenever I can.

I’m referring to the 885s myself.
