BTW, Garth put a V-grind on my stripped BATAC that is my absolute favorite grind on any knife ever. I have beat the snot out of that knife and it takes little effort to get it back to a working edge.

I prefer a well done V edge over a convex myself.

Resharpened or reprofiled?

If they can do a V-Grind, then reprofile, definitely. I'd prefer a V-Grind on this little Magnum Bear Cub, than the Convex grind.

Mine have been sharpened by Alan and they wouldn't cut paper when I received them. So I fixed it myself now they can do alright.

Beef sharpened my basic 10 pair. The cutting edge is perfect!!! But the tips are REALLY DUAL and rounded.
