Best sharpening stones....STAY AWAY!

placed an order from this company. A guy named michael poe for about $50.00 worth of lapping films for my wicked edge. I paid $10 extra for 2 day priority shipping. It has now been 2 weeks and have received nothing. The tracking i received says a label was made, but usps says no package was ever dropped off to be shipped. I have emailed this guy 3 times with no answer. I called and some stupid answering service answers and says they have no way to contact this guy except by email. Whats the point of a call center if you they cant call the business owner? I talked to the answering service 2 times now and they cant do anything. So now i have to go through my bank and fill out an unauthorized transaction paper to get my money back. Such a pain in the ass. I reccomend staying away from this company!!
 
Always a good idea to run a quick search here as this sounds the same as many others. Good luck

I saw a guy talking about the site on the wicked edge forum saying he bought lapping film from them before so i figured it would be alright. I cant seem to find films anywhere else except wicked edge and they are very expensive.
 
Unless my memory is really bad.....these guys seem to be repeat offenders on here quite often.

Nope, you are not wrong. When I say the name my memory was jogged.

Best Sharpening stones. Terrible name. It is like when a hotel goes out of its way to say it is clean.
 
I read about best sharp. Stones here and learned to avoid them. You can get the sheets of lapping film and cut them to siza and save more
 
I was going to buy from them because their prices were about $10 less on several stones. I read about them here and went with somebody else. I'm glad I did. Sorry to hear about your experience.
 
I gueevss I have been lucky, I bought all my DMT plates from them as well as some of the ultra diamond economy plates and never had a problem. Russ
