Best sharpening system ~400 or under?

Yup you were right I love it, I just finished putting a nice mirror edge on my AG Russell Acies!

The product is great but the customer service is better, I called the number that came with some of the instructions, and the creator of the Edge pro answered! He talked me through some of my issues, and was extremely helpful! That to me speaks volumes about the product.

Couldnt be happier with my purchase.

Thanks for pointing me to that site. I think I'm going to order the apex ultimate kit that comes with all the stones and tapes.

I'm excited. Haha. Is it fairly easy to use? And also since you have to use water is it messy?

Yeh Accuratesharp is a good supplier.

The Edge pro is fairly easy but practice on a your cheap knives first. Look at Ankerson's videos on reprofiling.

I find that putting a rag under the edge pro minimizes the mess by a large margin. Also get the stone flattening kit with the Silicon Carbide because you may have to lap your stones to get them to cut well. If you have a piece of glass about 1 foot square, just get the SiC powder at 3 bucks for the half pound bag.
