Best small Sinkevich? 0450 vs 0460 vs 0470

Looks like I'm the only one in the O460 cf camp . I picked one up because I wanted that Stabby looking persian sweeping blade style because it looked different than all my other blades. Fits my hand nice and it's a smooth flipper but I see no advantage to its shape other than looking scary .......

I’ll preface this by saying I have no personal experience with the 0470. Seeing that I don’t have the cash for one, I’ve been intentionally avoiding it. I mean, why run the risk?

What are you looking for in a kinfe? If it’s just general EDC, I’d vote for the 0450; assuming the ergos work for you the only thing holding it back from perfection is being a bit thick behind the edge. (I prefer the all Ti model, purely for tactile reasons.)

IMO the 0460 is a bit more of a niche knife—but there’s nothing wrong with that! It usually goes into pocket when I’m dressing nice, but it frequently spills over into weekday EDC.



The 0609 was brought up too. For the last 3 weeks it’s displaced every other knife from my rotation, which is highly unusual. I’ll be honest, if the action on my 0609 was equal to that of my 0450/0460, it would be my 100%-perfection/forget-all-others knife. The action is still good, but the lockbar tension on my sample is a bit too strong, so I wouldn’t call it great. IDK if that’s specific to my sample or not—and I’d rather too much tension than not enough.

The actions of my 0450 and 0460 are truly amazing.

I voted 0450.

0450 is probably my most carried ZT out of the 24 I own. I’m 6’11” and have large hands and it’s comfortable for me to use.

0470>0450. 0470 doesnt have that hump on the bottom like the 0450 that makes it feel too small. Never owned an 0460.

Personally, I don't like any of them.

The 0452 is my preference; I have 2 of them. I have a G10 0450 Sprint too but it's too small for my taste and I am planning to sell it. I also have an 0462 but it's just a collector piece for me.
