Best source for stencils

The current brand of stencils I'm using develop and cut without any problems but I'm experiencing a lot of cracking. The developed stencils seem very brittle and form numerious tiny cracks with minimal flexing. When etching, a little bit of current will leak through these tiny cracks etch small lines. So, I'm not getting much life out of the stencil before I have to make another.

Anyone have a good source for stencils that might be a little tougher?

Thanks,

Jim

IMG stencils are excellent and their service was top notch. I really made Pat work to get my stencil art right and she never complained. I would highly recomend them, after you're setup the cost is negligable.

I don't know anything about the DIY stencils like you're using now, I got talked out of them and I've been happy with the IMG ones.

Check out these guys.

Easy to work with, FAST, knowledgeable, not too expensive, FAST, the stencils are great, they have the right chemicals for whatever material you use. (their electrolyte made a big difference in my marks)

I too got sick of the cracks in the DIY stencils, so I bought some from them.
I am real happy I did.
I paid $22 for setup, and $17 a stencil.
The setup fee is a one time deal.

The information HERE allowed me to fine tune my homemade anoetcherdizer to get outstanding marks.

I ordered some stencils and developer from tustec today. Easy and pleasant people to deal with. After speaking with them I feel that their stencil material will solve my problems.

Thanks for the advice,

Jim
