  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

best Spyderco EDC

Actually About To Be Bringing My Second Para2 In Shortly.
I've Decided I Just Like Spyderco More Than Any Other Knife Out There.

And So I Think I'm Going To Curve My Collection To Be Mostly Or Just Spydercos.

I Have A Benchmade, Have Owned Benchmades, Have Owned ZT Knives, And Everything, And Spyderco Just Does It For Me Lol.

I own a Native and a Para, for me the Native gets the nod and its half the price of the Para but uses the same steel.

I have been coming to this same place myself. Para 2, Endura 4, Superleaf, PPT. I have never had a Spyderco I didn't like EDCing.

The Para 2 and Sage 1 are probably my top favourites. Honourable mention: Delica 4, Centofante 3, Dragonfly 2, Terzuola SLIPIT, Kiwi 3. Hard to choose with so many great options from Spyderco...

All depends on your preferences and the budget.
Without doubts Para2 is the great EDC, but out of current production I prefer Caly3.5 and Native5. This may be changed (or may be not) in the next summer, when I will get my green para with 204 steel

Spyderco Paramilitary 2 or Sage. Either of those are awesome....and the delicas too. too many choices!!!!!!

That one has to be my favorite tho. Spyderco paramilitary S90V and Carbon Fiber!! The thing just works!!! I will never sell or trade that blade.

For most people I think the Delica is hard to beat. When tha Para 2 is too big the Delica gets the nod. The Stretch gets honorable mention.

I have one Delica 4 and 3 Endura 4's. I still prefer the Byrd Cara 2. I have an FRN, a G10, and a project FRN (taking apart, sharpening,...). The FRN feels best in the hand but I need to loctite the lockbar screw to keep a good lockup. The G10 locks up better but I don't like the feel as much. They fit my hand better than the Enduras, lock up better, and are more along the price I'm comfortable with for a daily folding knife that I'll probably actually not use that much (SAK guy here!) and eventually lose. :D

Personally I don't see the appeal of the Delica's and Endura's... but many people highly recommend them as great EDC's, maybe I just need to handle one to get it.

I'd say FFG Delica 4 FRN (such a good slicer in an ultralight package) for EDC. Para2 is quickly becoming a true classic so you can't go wrong there!
