Im looking for a fixed blade for edc preferably undr $100. Im narrowed it down to the enuff, reverse or ronin. Ill use this for general utility tasks. I carry folders but Im developing dexterity issues due to athritis and other factors so a fixed blade with a full grip capability would be great. Which one of those models would or do you carry? Thanks

Of the models you'd mentioned, I'd carry a a Mule in CPM4V or PMA11 (aka CPM10V)

Spyderco Streetbeat liteweight hands down. I carry mine in waist band at 3 'o clock position and it just vanishes. Don't underestimate how important comfort of carry is when it comes to fixed blades. Often overlooked!

Retracted if it pleases the king.

You have to search for them on their site. The Micromelt option doesn't come up when selecting exclusives. Just a heads up for whoever is looking for one
Good Heavens.

Do this Google search and click on the very first entry.

It will take you to a page with all the Mules that have been made. Click on the one you want to see if it is available or "discontinued". It's not hard or elusive at all.

ETA: I know it's not on the OP's list, but I too would highly recommend the Mule for a general use Spydie fixed blade.

I searched MT26p on Spyderco.Com and went straight to the page.
The nightmare began when I needed a password to check out. Fucking 40 minutes.
Anyway got one ordered

Apologies...just trying to help someone that might go straight to the spyderco site. Have great night!

Well, you beat my time by several days. I just sent them an email. They know my email address and home address, but it seems they don't just send out your password to your email. It will get handled fine, I'm sure, but I haven't been able to order that MT26p

I really like the look of the smaller Street Bowie black. Haven't used it though. Looks like a good size for EDC and has a nice finger choil and sheath

Plus 1 on the Streetbeat.
Great size for EDC and that notch in the handle is really going to help with gripping the knife.

I like the Micarta handle scales, but it outside price range you stated. The black model with Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon handle feels great in the handle and is inside your price range.

Well Brother "REJECT" kind of stole my thunder but in a really good way. My now deceased best friend carried and EDCed the STREETBEAT model that I sold to him for over 3 years and he did carry a folder as a companion blade but mostly one of the Spyderco serrated models. When we found him dead he had his STREETBEAT on his person and I immediately got the knife to his son who now EDCs it.

My late friend said that he really wanted a Spyderedged version of the STREETBEAT and I can see why he wanted it. OK I sort of agree with my late pal but my preference for a fixed blade EDC is my original TEMPERANCE 1 model which on occasion I carry when I feel the need for a fixed blade.

Had they made the VAGABOND model with a better blade steel I would have been tempted to try it as an EDC. But the TEMP 1 and STREETBEAT are my favorite fixed blades and in that order too.

I've never handled a Bill Moran, but it looks like it would meld with my hand.

The Pygmy Warrior looks like an interesting EDC too. Plain edge and serrated in the same blade.

Spyderco fixed blades at around $100 or under.

Ark is going to be to small.

The Swick would work with the finger hole.

The Reverse is just not a good EDC, but would be ok if you like the blade shape.

The Moran has a good grip but. I’m starting to get a bit of arthritis too and what worries me is that if I have a loose grip. There isn’t much to stop my hand from going forward on to the blade with the Moran

The Streetbeat and the Enuff would my best picks. Even with loose grip, they feel secure in the hand. With the Enuff you have a pick of different blade styles. Small knife with full grip and enough blade to do the job.

If you want a bigger blade? The Street Bowie and the Aqua Salt would service you well.

Opps! Forgot about the Ronin 2, a lot of blade, not much handle. The others offer a better grip.

Great post! My only gripe about my Liteweight Streetbeat is the sheath seems to dull the blade if I'm not careful.

Dang! great post REJECT. Im going to get either the streetbeat or enuff once I get a hands on session at the shop. Thanks for all the info Really helped.
