For about 80.00- 85.00 range. Will be used for EDC and hunting back-up.
 
The new FFG ZDP endura, theirs a thread in the spyderco forum showing one, very sweet.
 
Used para-military! I got a para in a trade and I love the knife - it's more attractive once in hand. Feels realllllly nice.
 
I'd agree with an Endura. You should hold off though. There will be new full flat grinds available, in 2010. That will make the knife a much better slicer/skinner.

the Endura 4 G-10 is available for a little under 100$, and it has a full flat ground blade. it's a tiny amount over the price range, but I'd say it's worth it.
 
what about the tenasous, or may even the native in s30v? both are well under 80 shipped i picked up the native from ksf for 60 and the tenasious for 29 at your cornerstore
 
one of the salt models if you are going to use it in the field. Pac Salt. Endura 3 model with H1 steel
 
If you don't mind spending about half as much, check out the Tenacious. FFG, G-10 scales, and liner lock so it is easy to clean.
 
I use a delica 4 for that very porpose, but actually like my old Caly jr better for that sort of work.
