  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Best spydie for fruit

Pretty much any Spyderco folder would be good on fruit. Any steel Spyderco uses would be just fine, though you would want to clean Superblue pretty soon after using. My personal favorites would be the Military, Caly 3.5 and Para 2, because those are knives I happen to own. I have a few Salts, too. They are also great--I prefer the serrated versions, but the saber grind on the Salt series does not slice as well as the FFG blades.

Thanks guys ... I'm actually a chef by trade so it's quite often I get asked to perform various tasks of cutting and plating and other party tricks when I am at parties or visiting friends.
And to a chef "misery is other peoples knifes"

I would echo a lot of the feedback, any Spydie with decently thin blade stock, long-ish blade, and FFG. The Endura, Stretch, G10 Calypso sprint, or Military would be good. Any of those would do well with food prep in general as well.

And do I ever hate using anyone else's knife in the kitchen.
