Best steel for a EDC fixed blade

I have had knives in both steels. I prefer A2. It "feels" like I can get A2 just a tad bit sharper and it holds an edge really well for me. I live in north Alabama so the humidity in the spring and summer is borderline unbearable and have never had an issue with rust.

Thanks man that's what I was looking for.

Bump..... Just looking for some advice from guys or girls who have used both. Does cpm-154 simply offer corrosion resistance where a2 does not? Does cpm-154 hold an edge only a little longer but take a while longer to sharpen. Can both these take a reasonably thin edge and hold it under normal cutting with the odd hard cut here and there, or will cpm-154 not be tough enough?

I have a couple barkrivers in each steel and 154 is very stainless compared to a2 and I feel that it's pretty even in all aspects including ease of sharpening jmho
