Best Sub $100 Flashlight w/ your EDC?

For work I just got a Streamlight Scorpion, 2xlithium, xenon flashlight. 114 lumens, 5" long and less than $40 was too good a combo to pass up. Very nice, extremely bright little flashlight. Next to the bed I still keep a 4D mag if for no other reason than it makes a better club. If you want to use more of your $100 price range, look at the new Surefire G2 led. Small and bright with longer battery life and around $80.

My nightstand light is an Orb light. The orginial one with the tritium insert, and the magnetic switch. Pick it up, no fumbling for buttons, just slide the laynard around till the light comes on.

Next to the bed I have a 6C MagLite w/Terralux drop-in.

I carry a Fenix P3D RB100 & Fenix P1D CE (soon to be replaced by P2D CE).

I am a fan of the Fenix lights, and many folks over at CPF (who know far more about flashlights than I do) are as well. Seems to be the best bang for the buck, and hard to beat at any price.

I also carry the Sure-Fire E1E however I use the lamps made by Lumens Factory to replace the factory lamp. This company offers 3 different drop in lamps that really do improve the output and tint of this already fantastic light. Their highest power version must use a rechargeable 123 battery (4.2v) however cranks out a claimed 90 lumens from a single cell while their other two make 50 and 40 lumens I believe.

With the factory cost usually about 75 dollars for the light you can spend 20 more dollars and have a few higher output lamps and stay under your hundred dollar range. As it is the factory lamp on the little E1E is perfect for around the house at night usage I believe.
