Best Sub 4" or smaller fixed blade for survival?

You're dangerously close to whining, JJW. ;) Your fellow Canadian, H.W. McBride took a kitchen knife off a German soldier he had killed and used it for the rest of WWI. He spoke quite highly of it.
 
Hmmmm . . . in that general size range I would want one Fixed and one Folder.

Fixed: Busse Anorexic Badger

Folder: Spyderco Military

With these two I can do must survival chores. Chopping would be a pain though :)
