Best survival knife

I've been doing a little shop-looking for a new camp knife recently. There are so many great knives to choose from in the outdoorsy category! I looked at several different manufacturers and models, but finally ordered a Becker BK2 today. It seemed like the best option in the price range I was going for. Time will tell...

I would have to go with my Camillus pilots knife. I love the feel, heft, and versatility of this knife.

If my survival depends upon a piece of steel, I'm as good as dead.

Agreed. The most likely survival scenario I'd realistically face would be "THE BIG ONE" (earthquake) striking while I'm still attending college in the Pacific Northwest. With that in mind, I'd go for my Leatherman Charge AL (lives in my backpack) or Blast (lives under the bed in my go-bag). Not only do you get a crazy-sharp 3-inch blade, you get tools to fix the rest of the gear you hopefully have.
