best tactical/hard use edc folding knife?

And I found the opposite.:)
Guess that's why there's more than one knife design out there.;)

Very true, that's why I wrote "personally" & "for me". We're all different. I do prefer to actually use a waved Spyderco, though. That is because I find it works better (For me) to wave the knife forward & out. I suppose I can tap & drill a clip for the other side of an Emerson, but it's not an ambidextrous lock, like Spyderco's back-lock.

Check out the BM Adamas, it's very bulky and the Axis lock on it is stronger than any Ti liner/frame lock.

Spyderco Endura 4 FFG (many choices of handle color to make a scary knife a non-scary knife). No blade play in any of mine.
Kershaw JYD II.
Kershaw Rake.

^ What he said.. JYD II CP is my personal edc, backup skinning knife, and food prep knife when camping

I understand that there will be slight up and down play but the side to side is what throws me off. i adjust just like any other lock back but then 5-10 deployments later it begins to get loose and then maybe after 15 or 20 its audibly loose[/QUOTE said:
You need to put blue loc-tite on the thread of the pin.
