Which one of your folders has it?

I've gotta go with SpeedTech. The ol' combined push-the-thumb-stud / quick-twist-o-the-wrist makes 'em turn around and drool every time. If you know something that beats it, I did get a few overtime dollars this week ...

I'd vote for the large Wenger. It definitely has a kathunk.

Gotta go with Kevin on this one. My Larry Chew Quicksilver with its needle bearing action is without compare. You can just slide your thumb in behind the studpost and with a little flick, exactly like you're flipping a coin, thwaack, there it is!

Yup, thought of the SpeedTech Synergy as soon as I saw the subject line. If you don't think the Synergy has the best Thwaaaack!, I bet you ain't thwacked one yet. If Rolex made a switchblade, it would sound like a Synergy.

I've been wanting a Wegner. You guys might have just pushed me over the edge. That synergy sure makes a nice one, though! Just using the thumb, and no wrist action, it out thwaacks my office mates BM710s, Gerber Gator and Beretta something or other. The Delica that's usually in my pocket has a little sissy thwack but every once in a while, usually on a Friday, I bring in the big boy and put the rest to shame.

Richard, does the MiniSOCOM give good results too? And, yeah, I can imagine what the Sifu sounds like without ever having heard it. I'll be near a knife store tomorrow and check out the Random Task.

I wouldn't spline thwaaack my Sebenza, and that's the only thumb-stud type knife I own, or have owned. Never liked them before then, guess I'll have to try some of the others. Sounds like a Spydie Wegner might be in order.
