I've said it before and I'll say it again...

Michigan laws suck!!!

I'd move to California before I moved there.

I would vote for a Wegner Jr. I really love this knife. A miniAFCK wouldn't be bad but it is 'slightly' illegal with the blade being a touch over 3" (do you really think the MI State Police would nail you for this?). The BM 705 is also nice. Hard to beat that axis lock--a real nifty invention. And this knife is unbelievably smooth to open. It almost opens itself.

I have all three of these knives and I've carried each for several months but my preference is for the Wegner Jr. Solid and a type of blade geometry that appeals to me personally.

If I were you, I'd buy all three.

As for me, Paracelsus has me wanting a BM 850.

Others here make me want to expand my Spyderco selection (I've always wanted a Calypso Jr). And automantic's post makes me want to move out of Michigan.

Hoodoo

The low, hoarse purr of the whirling stone—the light-press’d blade,
Diffusing, dropping, sideways-darting, in tiny showers of gold,
Sparkles from the wheel.

I think the Benchmade Mini Styker would be a great knife or maybe a Wenger Jr. would also be a good knife
