I own neck knives from Newt, Running Dog, REKAT, and others and I love them all. MOST of the carry time gets split between my FrankenWoo and Hobbit Fang. (No offense, Michael, the BG42 L'il Pup is actually for my son, so I don't wear it.
)
Right now, I'm wearing a Livesay Little Pecker that I bought from Marion Poff here on the forums. It was refinished by another semi-famous forumite and I like it too. As a matter of fact, I think I like the finish on it better than the original Parkerizing.
For general utility, I'd go with a more traditional blade shape over the Tanto design, whatever brand you choose. One of the great things about the forums is having a place to sell the knife if you don't like it.
Check for CRKT Bear Claw - it is very much knife for your money.
My review on this knife is here: http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/001434.html
If you like more traditional blade design check for Fallkniven WM.
Stiletto Raggio- I think you will find that the Woo with the Micarta handles will be slim enough to meet your needs.
Running Dog- I like your work and I was really put off by your first post in thes thread. I am glad to see you admit that you misspoke yourself. I hate to see people bash other men's product unnecessarily.
Good Luck to us all.
