Best way to fix sheath?

I have a problem. I accidentally put my Sharpfinger through the side of it's leather sheath. It is still salvagable, though. So should epoxy do the trick? Any better suggestions?

Thanks,
Erik

Hi edenver...

I've fixed a lot of leather sheaths using 5 minute expoxy...

The best way to do it is to take it apart if you can and repair it from the inside.

Put a piece of tape over the cut on the outside, so it doesn't leak out then apply a thin coat just to get it started. Let it harden before you apply another coat..
If you want you can epoxy a piece of leather over the cut from the inside, as the likelihood of it happening again are pretty great...

Get yourself one of those quick stitch needles and sew it back together..Should be an easy fix really...

Hope this helps..

ttyle Eric...
