Best way to get 200-300 slip joint springs heat treated?

Say you have around 2 or 3 hundred 440C slip joint springs that you want to get heat treated and can't really afford a furnace until the first batch is sold. What would you do?

Texas Knife Makers wants $4 each which is reasonable for having to handle a few at a time but means I might as well invest in a furnace. If I could somehow get that down to $2 each it would be worth it to have somebody run them for me.

Anybody know a lower cost option for a large number of parts?

Does Peters Heat Treat do 440?? If so its only like $100 for 20lbs of material to be done.

I just asked Brad at Peters for a quote for 48 folder blades, 48 springs, and 48 lockbars and was quoted $180 including Cryo. Just FYI

I talked to Peters and they were very helpful. Much better than a lot of other places that don't seem to want to bother with anything but huge orders. This won't be so difficult after all. Thanks for the tips guys!
