So, if "someone I know" were considering getting a Sebenza, what is the best route to take "so I can advise this unnamed person"?
They seem to be pretty much price fixed so I'm not sure if there is a best way. Do you go with someone who has the knife in stock now? I assume all Sebenzas will have perfect F&F including action, blade centering, lockup, etc. since they are manufactured/assembled in a custom sort of way in so far as claimed attention to detail and warranty. So who you got it from shouldn't really matter much I would think. Maybe go with a dealer who has one you want (large) in stock and who is closest to you for a short shipping wait?
Do you go through a dealer or directly via CRK?
Also, what is the consensus between the original classic (maybe hard to get?) and the 21?
This person has some very sought after Spyderco's he thought about selling to finance this experiment but he also knows if the Sebenza isn't his cup of tea it should sell fast and for a minimal loss thus saving the wonderful Safe Queens.
Thanks for your advice so I can "advise this friend"
