A colleague at work, knowing that i am into knives asked me to take care of some knives he has.
OH GOD!! i have never saw knives treated so badly...suffice to say that he has been able to break the serrations at the base of the blade of a large gunsite voyager (what the heck..did he cut nails ?).
Lots of insults after i agreed to take care of the knives that were resharpenable...now i have this scimitar that has a squared-off point, with some metal bent to a side.
Have you any advice on the best filework to do?

Trust me I know the type. I have a buddy at work that broke the first 3/4" off the tip of a Gerber Gator ( and an EZ-out,and a Buck 110)and I reshaped that for him. He said he needed a screwdriver at the time so he just destroyed the tip. Some people. I wish I could help more I've just be using a lot of time and a lot of sweat on a DMT course (blue) stone to do the work.
