Best way to sharpen convex grind?

someone just sent me this link.... http://www.barkriverknives.com/convex.htm It seems to be a pretty good reference. I got some 600 grit wet/dry paper at Lowe's but that's as high a grit as they go there. I guess I'll have to look into ordering some. Time to glue an old belt to a board too I guess.
 
I'll might look into that, thanks! I guess I need some compound and get my strop fixed, and see if 600 grit is enough as was mentioned. I'm not trying to split too many atoms, but if it would slice a little paper and then tackle some wood I'll be happy.
