Best way to spend my money? (Stones?)

There is no question in my mind. EdgePro.
I've already bought all the others... just about everything DMT has for sale, Lansky, GATCO, SharpMaker with diamonds and extra stones, half a dozen different compounds and leathers from HandAmerican, Norton stones, good Japanese natural stones, ... the list goes on and on.... BUT ONCE I BOUGHT MY EDGEPRO APEX I DIDN'T USE ANY OF THEM AGAIN FOR REGULAR SHARPENING! I keep the SharpMaker in the kitchen for touch-ups, and sometimes use the DMT diamond credit card when in the field, but for sharpening any blade of any length to any angle without any effort.... EdgePro. You say you're ready to lay down $200? Why do it twice?

Same here. Sharpening with Edgepro Apex, touch ups with Sharpmaker. Maintnance with strop.

I am wanting a better edge for my knives and am fairly new at this sharpening thing. Are there certain models or types of the DMT benchstone and the Sharpmaker that are best for all around sharpening??
