Since the S.a.T. knives have a coil spring (yeah, I took mine apart), is it better to store them with the blade open or closed? My experience with autos and such says to keep the tension off the spring, and this means keeping the blade open. Any recommendations? I haven't seen anything official from SOG about it.

When we used to deal in automatic knives we always found it better to store these types of knives open. I'd imagine the same is true for the assisted knives that use coil springs, as keeping tension off of the spring is always a good thing.
