• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Best way to strip a pocket clip?

What do you mean? Strip what from the pocket clip??

The finish? (What kind of finish does it have?)

Totally depends on the type of finish. Certain finishes are baked on which are a little tougher to remove while others are really easy to flake off.
I would say cheapest would be fine grit sandpaper say 600 or so with a little patience and time. Another option is Paint stripper from local hardware store. Just spray at all over the clip and let it sit for a few minutes. [be careful with this method as paint stripper is some nasty stuff. don't get on your skin]. Last that I can think of which I came upon on accident is a do it yourself titanium anodizing set up with 9v batteries. I left a few screws on a ti scale and the paint came right off them. You can search the process on forum or just google search. Hope this helps.

Thanks E8E that' s what I was looking for, I'll check it out! Just might want to change up a black clip on black scales!

Your very welcome. Good luck and watch out cause once you start customizing one thing it can very quickly turn into an addiction and before you know it you can't stop... :]

Yeah, I already took the dremel wire brush to the aluminum handles on the Ripple and surprisingly it looks 100% better!
