I would like to report a bad buying from Best Sharpening Stones.com. I ordered a $63.90 stone from them and never received it. I have called only to talk to an answering service who promised to transfer my message to the owner. No satisfaction happened there so I reported them to the local Better Business Bureau. BSS never responded to the inquiries from the BBB either. It turns out, however, had I bothered to look prior to placing my order with BSS...Holy Cow! They ARE NOT certified by the BBB. There have been dozens of unresolved complaints by BSS. My advice now is DO NOT ORDER FROM Best Sharpening Stones. My $63.90 probably paid for Mike's Golf cart rental for the day.

You should contact your bank, you might be able to be refunded provided not too much time has passed.

Hey thanks for tip Revdevil. I would not have thought of doing that. I'll post if I have success. Thanks again.

I might be way off, but I think the banks give you a total of about 60-90 days average. Call the 1-800 number on the back of your bank card. Explain that you made an online purchase, give the name of the company, the date, transaction number, and explain with as much detail as they can bear what happened.
I had to do this one a long time ago with a knife store. I got my money refunded in less than 2 weeks from the date I called. It was a simple process, and I had the information above for them as they asked, including emails from me inquiring about my items to the company. Good luck and let us know how things turn out.

I retitled your thread to reflect the name of the store in question.

Thank you RevDevil you gave me some great advice. My bank is going to refund my money and I assume go after this company.
Anyway, thanks for the great tip...you ROCK!

I placed an order with them a few weeks ago, received all but one stone. I attempted to contact them numerous times but could never get a response. Finally just disputed the charges through my Amex account, got a prompt refund. Still have not heard anything from Best Sharpening Stones.

Glad that avenue worked and you received a refund.
