Fresh out of the forge and hot off the grinder, one hardened titanium alloy knife. This blade will never rust or corrode.

Hammer-forged 89.5Ti 10Nb 0.5Fe beta titanium alloy

OAL: Just over 7 1/2 inches
Blade length: 4 1/4 inches from tip to wrap

This blade is a bit thick, at 3/16" along the spine, convex edge

Comes with a fine sheath made of cow hide, gray elk and white cord, made by Mlle. Øye. The sheath can be looped through a belt or carried in-pocket. Grip is wrapped nylon cord and cow lace.

HA! Thanks fellas. The photos are bad, and don't show the knife's bronze and gray colors. The knife will be at the show to see, Sloth, and yes: what is a GK? :confused:
 
I'm not familiar with this alloy. What is the heat treat and final hardness? How would the steel characteristics be described? Thanks, Ed
