Hello folks,

Here is a blade inspired by Phill Hartsfield's knives, but with a Mad Science style! This is right-hand chisel grind from a hammer-forged beta titanium alloy billet. Alloy composition is approximately 89.5Ti 10Nb 0.5Fe. Grip is about 4 3/8"; total length is 11" with a blade thickness of 5/32". Weight of the knife is 4.6 oz, and 6.6 oz with sheath. This is a slim and dangerous knife.

The heat-treatment colors are left intact on the flat side. Deerskin grip wrap with matching deerskin-covered leather sheath, made by Mlle. Øye.
*Note* The three-rings dangling off of the sheath in the photo have been removed and the sheath comes with just the deerskin cord, minus the rings.

Price: $250 shipped to USA (overseas shipping may cost a few bucks extra).
Paypal: KLSAMEE@YAHOO.COM

Thanks for looking!~

Hi leebrewer, apologies but in his message Ritt said he would take the blade for sure, he was just confirming the paypal address, so I think he should get dibs. :foot: Let me know if you have something like this one in mind though, and I can add it to the pile!

Bigjonhoss and AVigil, thank you sirs, I really like how this style of knife cuts. :)

Thanks Ritt.

I get many inquiries about tantos, kwaikens, and Japanese-influenced-type-knife-like-objects in general, so there will be more blades like this one, but the designs will morph to take full advantage of the beta titanium alloy's properties. Blades like this are almost like little swords, and that's the spirit of what I aim to make! :D

Sweet blade, and sheath combo nice work.
Oh and the photos were really well done, looking forward to more from the Madscienceforge.
