Hello knife fans,
Up for grabs is a "specimen slicer" in beta titanium!
This light-weight, corrosion-proof blade should be good for daily cutting tasks or an excellent slicer for your maritime or hiking adventures.
This knife comes with a nice custom leather sheath made by Øye, which features a bison leather applique', and makes for a slim package.
The billet was forged from the 89.5Ti10Nb0.5Fe alloy used for my swords. The handle wrap is nylon cord with a fine, delicate deerskin lace wrap.
This isn't the cleanest, most perfect or crisp specimen slicer, but it is probably the thinnest and most sharp! Just a single smooth piece of heat-treated beta ti, with an iffy scotch-brite finish that screams, "use me!"
