Attention knifemakers:

I have available a 24" piece of beta metastable titanium bar stock, alloy 89.5Ti 10Nb 0.5Fe. This is my best large ti blade alloy, suitable for making an excellent sword or large machete. This is roughly 9/16"square bar stock, for forging into a blade billet. You must have a propane forge to work this alloy. Purchase of this stock includes verbal instructions/data dump on how to forge it properly the first time, as well as heat treatment of your ti blade(s) by yours truly! :D The result will yield a rigid, tough, flexible and very potent large blade that can't rust.

Price: Deal closed shipped USA

Honestly It will be a little while before I am ready to make a sword, but I am a metallurgy student right now and it feels fitting!

Paypal is incoming

In that case you're going to love this alloy. It's very unusual. I'm looking forward to the "verbal forging instructions / data dump" part of the deal, as discussing the metallurgy of ti alloys is always quite exciting. PP received, it will be in the mail tomorrow!

Oh it's gonna be. *maniacal cackling*
